Greatest hits: SA vs ENG ODI Newlands competition

Tickets to the SA vs England ODI clash at Newlands on 4 February sold out at a record pace. Fortunately, we still had 10 sets of double tickets to give away. On the day, newly appointed captain Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma didn’t disappoint – recording the highest successful ODI chase at Newlands to claim a memorable victory over England.

Congratulations to our lucky OPSC members below who won double tickets and thanks for your support at the stadium.

Here's what some of them had to say about the big day:

I've been a Newlands cricket fan since the 1980s. It's become a spiritual visit for me when I go to this most beautiful ground in the world. Thanks so much once again, and look forward to continuing to be a member of OPSC.

Thanks to OPSC a young cricket enthusiast and Proteas supporter was able to attend the ODI and watch his team, containing young future stars, take on England at Newlands.

Denis Blum

After weeks of looking for tickets for the ODI in Cape Town, we were thrilled to win tickets from OPSC just the day before the game! It was a pleasure to watch the display put on by the Proteas in front of the beautiful backdrop of Table Mountain. Thank you OPSC!”
